I review a rather broad range of kinds of music in my indieblog. Primarily pop and rock, but there's a lot of variation. I like all bands and musicians I write about, else I wouldn't write about them. But of course there are bands I love to hear very much and bands I just like. One of my most favorite bands for a number of years is The Airfields.
David Lush, Ian Jackson, Ali Sunderji, Jakob Thiesen and Sheila Sampath are from Toronto, Canada and they first performed live in the summer of 2004. You can read some more information about The Airfields in my first contribution about them. Now I just want to let you you know that their new album has been in the shops since two weeks. "Up All Night" has been released with the Canadian Canadese label Humblebee Recordings and you can listen to four out of the eleven tracks of the album on the MySpace-page of The Airfields. Below you'll find "Never See You Smile" maybe the best song of the CD. The Smiths meet Ride.>mp3: Never See You Smile
