Company

COMPANY_300rgb The last day of March. Clocks are on Daylight saving tiem again and spring is over a week old. The temperature has risen above ten degrees Celsius and it's just a matter of time before it reaches twenty degrees. But I havne't got that spring feeling yet and I don't know why. I don't feel like getting up in the morning and at night I'll get to bed before twelve o'clock, something I never done before. And I don't want to listen to cheerful music and at such times the Americana from Company is a very good alternative.
Company consists of Adam Davison, David Janik, Stephanie Rabins and Christopher Teret from Brooklyn, New York. This band of songwriters was founded in 2001 and after some self-released records and a lot of live shows with bands like Bright Eyes, Oakley Hall and Oneida they signed a contract with Brah Records from Oneida-drummer Kid Millions. In 2005 they released their album "Parallel Time" and now the successor "Old Baby", produced by Kid Millions has also been released. This second CD from Company contains some very interesting songs which fit the way I feel at this moment. But I do hope that I feel better soon...
