Shaving is not my favorite chore. Every morning the same ritual and if you skip it once, you'll have to work twice as hard the next time. I used to shave myself with soap and a knife but some years ago I just stopped this and switched to an electric razor. You just don't have to be so careful with it. So I hate shaving, but I hate beards even more. And what do I see on the pictures of the bands I see nowadays? Beards. They seem to be fashionable again. Joe Westerlund, Brad Cook and his brother Phil Cook also have beards.
They are from Durham, North Carolina, they play music in Megafaun and they used to play music with Justin Vernon (or Bon Iver) in DeYarmond Edison. Besides this, Brad is also de co-owner of Burlytime Records. This isn't the label which has released the debut album "Bury the Square" from Megafaun about two weeks ago because this was done by Table of the Elements/Radium/Xeric.
