Since two weeks I don't work one night but two nights a week. It's just temporary because I'm took over a class from a colleague who went to Papua Niugini to film a documentary. Now I teach a computer class for beginners and one of the main subjects is of course internet. It's hard to believe that there are still people in the Netherlands who don't use internet. By the way, this is not a real bad thing, because it means that I won't be losing my job soon.
This introduction has nothing to do with Silent Kids, except that I found this band on internet.
Silent Kids or Jeff Holt, Michael Oakley, Leanna Fugate, Brandon Arnold and on some occasions Tracy Clark and Beth Kargel are from Atlanta, Georgia. Holt, Oakley and Scott Rowe started the band a trio, but Rowe left the band to concentrate on Luigi, his other band. Silent Kids first record was the EP "Radio Beams", but this one is out-of-print now. In 2003 Two Sheds Music released their first full-length CD "Tomorrow Waits" and the same label will release "Dinosaurs Turn Into Birds" in a week or three. Their psychedelic popmusic is produced on vintage instruments and analog recording equipment and you can hear it. It's nice and fresh sounding music which could just as well be from the sixties.
