Springfactory

sf23It's been a while since I wrote about Swedish music in this indieblog. In fact, it's been almost two months and that's much too long. I used to review a new Swedish band or musician here at least once a week. Usually that's no problem because Sweden has a wonderful offer of indiemusic. Like  Suburban Kids with Biblical Names. I haven't written about them yet and today I'll only write about half of this duo, namely about Peter Gunnarson. Together with his girlfriend Lina Cullemark he is Springfactory. They're also getting some help from Daniel Holmström, Magnus Svedjebratt and Mikael Hall

Peter and Lina met each other in 2003 and about one year later they started playing music together in Springfactory. In February 2005 they released their first EP with for instance the beautiful song "Get Out of Bed". It was released on the Swedish label Bedroom Records. On that same label they later released their second EP "As Winter Gives Way to Spring". The eight songs from both EPs with two new songs are released on their first full-length CD "Springfactory" and this one is released by the American label  Series Two Records. Finally I have some more beautiful Swedish popmusic for you!
