There is no such thing as coincidence. Or does it? Although I try to write about new and unknown bands as much as possible, I wrote about Okkervil River for the third time a few days back. And today I shall write about Stars In Coma for the third time. Both bands are totally different except this coincidental similarity. The second isn't even a band.
André Brorsson from Skåne, Sweden is Stars in Coma. In his small home studio he is the ultimate do-it-ourself musician and he plays all the instruments. Except on stage where he is assisted by Håkan (laptop, guitar, drums) and Mattias (bass, backing vocals). The strong and pleasant melodies from André most of the time make excellent popsongs. You can find these popsongs on a number of net-EPs, CDR-EPs and CDR albums which were released on several labels like Molokini, Cloudberry en Music Is My Girlfriend. "You're Still Frozen in Time", the new album will be released in two weeks on the last of those labels. André / Stars In Coma goes on recording, and now he has also recorded a cover by an obscure Swedish sixties band and you'll also find this one below.>mp3: Invisibility Trick
>mp3: People Put Up with a Lot of Shit
>mp3: My Happiness Day (cover of Eternity's Children)
